The Grammy’s Show Their True Colors By Eliminating Categories For Black & Hispanic Artists

in today’s “GTFOHWTBS” and “Bad Policy” news….

you know you done fucked up right?

Every year we diligently examine our Awards structure to develop an overall guiding vision and ensure that it remains a balanced  and viable process….it was objectively determined that our GRAMMY categories be restructured to the continued competition and prestige of the highest and only peer recognized award in music.”  This was the quote from the President /CEO of the recording Academy, Neil Portnow.

But it is only the awards that go to artists of color that were chopped or merged. Here are the eliminated categories

  • Best Latin Jazz
  • Best Contemporary Jazz Album
  • Best Cajun & Zydeco Album
  • Best Native American Album
  • Best Hawaiian music Album
  • seven Latin categories which may be fair being as the Latin Grammy’s probably cover the categories

and the shocker…Best R&B Male, Best R&B Femaleand Best R&B Groups and  have been eliminated and now only one award will be given for Best R&B performance.

Say Word??? Kanye done f*cked it up for everyone!

GTFOHWTBS

But seriously Grammy people…seriously??  and do you really have to be so obvious about it?  The best rock, country and pop categories did not get cut…this is some bullshyt.  So first the music industry steals all the Black music and now they cut out the originators.  Pay attention people..this is how history is re-written.

How much you want to bet that the best R&B Album goes to a Justin Timberlake or Eminem…I’m just saying. and no..I don’t put it past them to give Eminem the award for Best Rap and Best R&B.

Fuck you Neil “i hate colored music” Portnow, your whole team and yo’ momma too.

  1. How many Grammy categories are differentiated by gender? Zero. None. All categories are general. Stop finding stuff to complain about. Geez…come on.
